Yes! The conditions are often exactly perfect for using wifi: carrying your laptop, tablet or phone, stuck seated with a tray right in front of you, unable to make a phone call but still able to send emails or messages, and often thinking about business you're travelling for.

And I'm usually prepared to pay double what they ask. It's the only way I can tolerate flying 30k ft in the air, trapped in a tin can, piloted by someone who's boss is incentivized to have him fly as many hours as he can before being fatigued to the point of crashing.
