Selfishness is a limit of intelligence itself. E.g. promiscuous men is a contingent variable, which we know because not all species are promiscuous.

Some men will literally (though unconsciously) think, "Well his wife is really hot, so I guess he has a point." Axe body spray commercial won't work on robots.
