"NRx is monarchism/autocracy ..." -- so then why does Moldbug define the "monarch" (Neocam CEO) as an executive appointment, rather than a dynastic stock-holder?

Cuz he’s trying to simplify assumptions in order to do theorycrafting. See also: fnargl, the immortal unkillable alien king

More economical to see Neocam as a model for coherent republican governance packaged in Jacobite LARPing for the troll value. But pretty much everyone missed the joke.

How will a company provide republican governance? On a slightly different note, I’m interested by the split in NRx in attitudes towards the American Revolution. You think it was good but
@Alrenous,@jamesd23x and Moldbug (all Americans I believe) all think it was a mistake.2 replies 0 retweets 2 likes -
Territorial fragmentation is always good.

Isn’t land under the kings rule the kings property? Therefore making secession a form of theft?

If I was a monarchist (rather than a neocameralist) I'd bite.

Is monarchy somehow not related to property, then?

It's a massively defective tacit theory of property, practically refuted in 1688 and 1776.

Rather than what is or isn't property, it's more about what the actors in question consider to be property. And taking what you consider to be someone else's property makes you a thief, regardless of whether they actually own it.

Fragmentation is always good, yes, but doesn't make up for the fact this fragment was founded and is still run by thieves, brigands, burglars, and bandits.
