This is the wildest, funniest, most exciting thriller I've ever written. You've heard the term "book of the summer"? This is the "book of all the unbearably hot summers to come." Check it out!

The final story in this upcoming anthology is my tribute to the late Vera Rubin, the astronomer who discovered the best evidence for dark matter but never got the credit she deserved, partly because of sexism.

Definitely! Much of the fascination of genealogy is rediscovering the tragedies of my family’s past: Spanish flu deaths, morphine poisonings, stabbings among the pushcart peddlers on the Lower East Side.

Thanks for sharing another of my posts for the Killzone. The other writers for the blog didn’t like this one either, contributing to their decision to kick me out of the group.

Yes, Sam is definitely the hero. That's why he got the last line: "Well, I'm back." As I recall, Frodo is too irritable and self-righteous. Sam, in contrast, is totally likable. Also, Sam is the only character who successfully resists the Ring.

This is a tad late, but I'm #thankful for my family and for #lotr since we spent all weekend in Middle Earth watching the extended versions of the Lord of the Rings movies. (And I have to say, I think the protagonist was really Sam, not Frodo. Thoughts?) Feeling #blessed today!

Spoke with @AlpertMark about his sci-fi thriller The Coming Storm, which warns about the consequences of unethical scientific research and of ignoring the scientific findings you don't like. @sciam 🎧 scientificamerican.com/podcast/episod
