Incidentally, probably a good place to say hello to about a hundred beloved Blues & Berts who have followed me in the past 48 hours. You should be warned that this account is approx 2% football, 6% gender politics theory and 92% swearing at Tories, but hey, welcome aboard.

It's long been said that one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. These days, one man's terrorist is often a vulnerable, alienated and mentally unstable teenager from a south London sink estate who has only just been released from Belmarsh.

"What should we do with this troubled teenager who is showing an interest in radical Islamic ideology? Oh I know, let's bang him up in the cells for a few years alongside a few hundred of the most dangerous radical extremists & terrorists in the country, that will solve it."

I know this view is about as unpopular as they get, but when Amman was caught with extremist downloads perhaps if he'd been sentenced to a properly funded probation & desistance programme instead of 3 years in fckn Belmarsh, there might have been a chance of turning him around?

Repeat after me: Prison does not rehabilitate. Prison does not reform. Prison does not deradicalise. Prison makes damaged, dangerous people even more damaged & dangerous, whether they're a teenage delinquent, a habitual thief or an Islamic Fundamentalist.

Never let a chance to be a smug, supercilious twat drift by, eh lads? Absolute blistered arseholes.

Something I've been simmering on for 2 days. That letter that was stuck up in a building telling people they need to speak the 'Queen's English? It's horrible, terrifying & deeply depressing & I'm aghast so many people's takeaway is "but their own English isn't even correct!"

3 weeks ago we saw the conviction of the most prolific convicted rapist anywhere in the world, offences against 48 individuals, 150 more known but as yet unidentified victims. just ran a debate on rape prosecutions & I don't think it got a single mention?

I shared this a few days ago but if you want to know why boys (privately educated excepted) are doing so much worse than girls - a primary school shared these images approvingly - & some 'gender equality' campaigners were buzzing about how inspirational they are.

Someone just said that girls are doing "slightly better than boys." This is bollocks. The difference is massive, it's widening every year, and this kind of complacency is incredibly harmful.

It's also the case that purely statistically, within the 'white boys on FSM' demographic category, the 'boys' factor is massive. The poverty factor is massive. The 'white' factor is comparatively minuscule. And yet here we are talking about just one of them.

There are also huge complexities around racialised patterns in diagnoses for special needs, neurodiversity, mental health issues etc, all of which impact the statistics.

He could also have mentioned that white boys on FSM who sit GCSEs do worse than any other demographic, but more BAME boys are excluded from school & don't even sit their GCSEs.

is absolutely correct. Kids - boys in particular - do much worse at school when multiply disadvantaged, especially by poverty. Some of the most disadvantaged people in our society are poor white people. They are not disadvantaged because they are white.

I've just discovered that the Horrible Histories clip which has had the pissypants tendency up in arms is from 2009. LOL. The absolute snivelling bellends.

My only contribution to Palindrome Day is to point out that a palindrome should really be called a palinilap.

Not a match report, but an "eye-witness account." I've seen a few Saints matches which were downright criminal, tbf

Must admit, my list of expected-unexpected consequences of Brexit has always been very long, but did not include Sinn Fein winning an Irish election. Aye, top bants fellas.
