Make things more energy efficient & will save costs especially if use clean energy too. Jobs making buildings etc more energy efficient are good permanent jobs & boost economy. Alternative is keep on dying from heat severe weather & pandemics. Not really a viable alternative.

So us contractors who drive 1000s of miles across the country making things like supermarkets etc how would that work on electric vans? Carrying materials and tools etc? Genuine question not being funny.
