    We fight on! Our demands: -7% raise for teachers, $1000 bonus for staff. -Move teachers stuck below proficient I for the past two years up to proficient I. -Prioritize DTR candidates who have been eligible since 2019 in the DTR application process.

    🛑Charters want to expand in your neighborhood. Unlike real public schools that routinely conduct public meetings on whether & where new facilities are needed & answer the public's questions & concerns, charters ARE NOT req'd to gather public input.

    We did it! The amendment from to require the state to send $17.9 billion in federal relief directly to school districts PASSED and is officially part of the budget bill. This is HUGE & your tweeting thumbs today helped.
