#WhyIDidntReport to the police? Because my teachers didn’t believe me. Because my friends turned against me. Because everyone I told ignored the horrors of what I was telling them. Because my parents didn’t know what to do either. Because it was all too much for anyone to bear.
I did everything a kid is suppose to do and STILL no one did anything concrete to rectify my assault. The school literally said “they’re only boys and they’ll be finished with school soon, could we leave it be please?” I saw my attackers daily for the next 5 years. Nice, huh?
Tramp doesn’t have a fucking clue what he’s talking about. To put this into context, I don’t know a woman who HASNT been sexually assaulted or horribly harrassed. It’s happens ALL THE TIME. Just because you didn’t hear it about it or it wasn’t reported doesn’t mean it isn’t there
We know Tramp is a serial sexual assaulter. We know he’s a misogynist. My prayer is that no one listen to his rhetoric. My prayer is that we finally LISTEN TO THE WOMEN. My prayer is that we finally believe the girls and boys brave enough to speak. My prayer is that we hear them.
My prayer is that we love and hold space for those still too scared or stuck or hurt to speak. My prayer is that we stop with the fucking age old dinasaur bullshit of doubt because it doesn’t fit YOUR nice prim narrative about your son / friend / brother / boss / husband / dad.
My prayer is that one day, if I choose to, I am able to share the full scale of my assaults. Because they are ALOT for one soul. But they also gave me a back bone of steel. And I will never let anyone crush it again. Power to the survivors. I see you and I believe you.

Happened to me around 20 years ago and I still can't speak about it aloud, not even to my relatives, 'cause I still feel ashamed & I'm afraid of their reaction. I spoke about it for 1st time around 1 years ago, to my best friend.
