. is there a way to make a formal complaint about the gas tank in my 2021 Highlander? It's supposed to be a 17.9 gallon tank, and i've never been able to put more than 12 gallons or so in it, even when i'm almost on "E" Really sucks to have to gas up every 250 miles or so
A year ago today I bought a house ALL BY MYSELF! It took 12 long years to get here since moving back to Maine, but it was so worth every single day and challenge!
An A-frame house with almond and white siding with a wrap around cantilever deck. The deck and front yard is covered by about six inches of snow.

UnitedHealth Group made $20.1 billion in profit last year. How much of that record profit was made by raising costs and denying claims? Putting $$ over patients is (ahem) EXACTLY why we have to fight these greedy healthcare companies.

At least 12 states allow the gov't to steal your home equity. They do it in shocking ways. Just ask Kevin Fair, who fell $588 behind on his taxes after his wife was diagnosed with severe MS. But Kevin didn't realize the debt was growing, because he never received notice. /6

Tawanda Hall fell $900 behind on a payment plan for her taxes. With added fees, she owed $22,642. The local treasury took her home and sold it for **over $300,000.** And then they kept the remainder. The government stole over $286,000. Jaw-dropping. /4

A year ago, I wrote about a 93-year-old woman who fell behind on her property taxes. So the government seized her home, sold it—and *kept the profit.* The Supreme Court has agreed to hear her case. But there are many stories like hers, and they'll shock you. A thread.

So close! Just that it was someone in Maine was nearly statistically improbable. But alas, our lotto pool didn’t win the jackpot.

BREAKING: Someone in Maine has matched all six numbers and won an estimated $1.35 billion Mega Millions prize, overcoming steep odds that led to three months of drawings without a winner. The winning numbers were: 30, 43, 45, 46, 61 and the Mega Ball 14. apnews.com/article/sports

THIS explains why I can't get anything but sales pitch emails from NGP VAN.

NEW: I wrote last year about why some Dem strategists were concerned that a private equity firm was taking over the party’s campaign tech apparatus. Today, the new parent company of NGP VAN announced layoffs of 10% of the company, 140 people
