Dear @ICSD_Conf, I have a question. The solid waste management program asks consumers to separate waste (recycling, landfill, compost). But in reality, all streams of waste end up in landfill most of the time. How is the infrastructure going to be fixed?
Another question I have is about our changing economy. Just because we are shifting to more green alternatives, like cassava bags or 100 botol, this will still require a lot of inputs from agriculture or petroleum. Do we need disposable bags or water bottles to begin with?
ie is our solution just to find a different resource to supply our wasteful and excessive demand? And what do you think of these side effects on these new supply chains? #ICSD2019
