BREAKING: crude oil prices continue to collapse, with futures down 92% to as low at $1.02 PER BARREL of West Texas Intermediate Light Sweet Crude. These futures were trading at $62 in January.

It’s a drop in global demand plus Saudi vs Russia flooding the market with over supplying by outputting millions of barrels more than they were. Each wants to put US shale out of business and claim market share. All countries would have to come out of lockdown to drive demand.
