How on earth could SFUSD have a document of this length regarding race at Lowell and not mention Asians a single time? Did the district forget that they were a large majority there, or is this fact purposefully not being mentioned? Asians are not white supremacists.

It did mention Asians—at the beginning with the historical point that Asians were excluded from schools early. What can be difficult is using Asians as fodder in this way for (legit) demands today but not acknowledging them as contributing to “diversity.”

Dr Kendi is a credible witness. What’s remarkable is the omission in the res of Dr Kendi’s recommendation. He did not call for eliminating Boston Latin’s admissions but reforming the criteria. He called for centering Ss “desire to learn.” Sounds like LHS admissions Bands 2+3.
