I understand that publisher’s change has increased this internal and publicly chaos, but that’s exactly why it’s better to clarify things, mainly to respect the large fandom.
The franchise now seems more abandoned and lost than when it was Square Enix’s hands. (2/3)

Sad about the lack of information on the upcoming announced #TombRaider projects. We have no news of the Netflix anime, nor the release of Reloaded, Switch ports, among many other things.
Disgracefully, I no longer celebrate the franchise. (1/3)

Many of you have been unfair to Crystal Dynamics since are in charge of Tomb Raider.
They are not perfect, nobody is, but the harassment and demolition that has been caused to them during these years by people without life on the internet is inexcusable.

I love Tomb Raider, but I have no interest in future games or projects. Not at the moment, at least.
I'm sure I'll be very excited when solid things are announced, but for now my view of the franchise is as if it doesn't exist.

It is okay to like certain styles/themes/features/gameplay over others
It is okay to be open about it too, constructively, even if you know not everyone will agree
Bullying however, be it other fans or employees is not okay, and not welcomed

Mixed feelings with this. Crystal Dynamics is such a great studio, but they also need help (good one, not like SE) to produce a brilliant product and avoid some (many more) mistakes of the past.

Two ugly and expensive figures… just horrible products.
This was not the idea to have more affordable Tomb Raider products (neither €40 nor €100 is cheap for this shit).
Thank goodness this is Square Enix's latest project.

It’s the biggest gap without anything though. The gap between TRU and TR as big, but TRU released in late 2008 and by 2010/2011 we already knew and had info about TR13. This time around we’re completely in the dark, save for knowing the game will be made in UE5

Again, this “community” is just unbearable now. I’ve seen everything at this point: fansites that incite drama with ambiguous “news”, fan wars between versions of the same character, worship of people who are no better than anyone, subjective takes taken as objective… yeah 😹
