Why are our governmental leaders shooting to pass things that are less popular than what we have? Isn’t the point of government that majority rules? So if something is popular... the majority likes it... am I missing something? #soconfused

You may be missing the fact that the modern GOP is a fascist movement bent on ruling, not governing. Their laws don’t need to be popular since they’re using propaganda, gerrymandering, and voter suppression to select their voters.
