I like to think that rallying together to save people an opportunity to rebuild society
We either save avoidable deaths & destroy society OR accept avoidable deaths & save society. The moral dilemma of our time.

Society, as it was in 2019, was so flawed, I wonder if it’s worth saving. Let’s try to save every life, and build a better society.

A reboot is not necessarily a bad thing, and it certainly doesn’t mean destroying society. As you say, it’s an opportunity to become better. Downer, there’s at least one more option but you’re so inhuman it wouldn’t even cross your mind.
