Pausing loan repayment allowed a lot of millennials and young people to:
- buy houses
- become financially secure
- pay off other debt
- start a family
- keep up with inflation
Restarting payment would feel like being sent back to the dark ages. #studentloanforgiveness
Only canceling 10k feels like a slap in the face when (1) we were promised more when they were campaign thirsty back in 2020 and (2) they're not doing anything about interest rates #studentloanforgiveness
