As I rewrite my opening paragraph for probably the 50th time, I'm wondering, how often do you rewrite your opening lines? In my drafting phase, I've tried to keep pushing forward without much revision of what I've done so far, but I do go back and tinker with those first words...pic.twitter.com/uf1OL1Chy7

I took the week off work to make as much progress as possible on my WiP. I was able to fill in a crucial plot thread, write a whole new chapter, and get half-way through another. 6004 total words for the week, and the WiP stands at 48,164. 5 1/2 chapters to go.

Finished a 3 day write-a-thon with my mom. Word count by day... Day 1: 1,509, Day 2: 1,838, Day 3: 1,404, for a total of 4,751 in 72 hours. Was able to work in a new plot thread and complete chapter 19 (of 25 planned). 6 chapters to go, 2 months 'til deadline.
