My little cousin asked me one time “what’s all over your face” and I was like “what do you mean??” And she said “all the red things they make you so ugly” talking about my acne.. I cried for a few days after that bc I know it true but jeez she was so mean about it 
One time years ago when I had terrible acne, my boyfriend’s nephew (who was like 6 at the time) pointed at my face and said “I like your dots!”
I didn’t know what to say lol. He’s a sweet kid—I knew he was just trying to be nice, but at the same time it was such a gut punch
