Puppy day two and the pattern is horribly familiar. A day of loving having a new best friend baby thing, and then thick anxiety come evening cos he hates the crate, will cry all night, and then I think this is impossible, I’m an idiot, what were we thinking, we can’t do this.

Looks like a lot of people are saying this but... This is a perfect encapsulation of how we felt. It took a while to figure out what worked for us, but he's the most wonderful mistake we ever made.
