It's so constantly and brilliantly put together. So many so called comedy films could learn an incredible amount from this film.

The thing is, I doubt any film will ever impact on me the same way that stuff did when I was 15-18...
...So are those still my favourites, even if they don't reflect my wider tastes much anymore?

For whatever reason, this never happened with TV. I've loved The Simpsons since I was seven, and it's still 100% Me. Same for Buffy, really.

I struggle separating stuff that I consider a favourite and stuff that was formative. Less so with music, but books/film/television for sure
