On a whim, six months after picking it up in a sale, I took Transistor for a half-hour spin on the PS4 before work.

Can't believe how much it has got under my skin already. I think that's largely down to the way the game drops you straight into things.

There are a bunch of questions - about the setting and the story, but also just what the game is, how its systems work - and few answers.

As someone who gets deeply frustrated with the two-hour cutscene/tutorial intro of most games, it makes me want to hug @SupergiantGames.
