FUUUCK. Just had a Word document crash on me, and disappear itself. I've been saving, opening and closing all day, and now I'm suddenly getting this message, and the file is gone from the source folder. Any ideas?pic.twitter.com/sqZM9jhMMm
...okay, I've found some version of it in Word's AppData/Roaming folder. Thank Christ. If anyone ever finds themselves in this position, .asd files are your friend.
And by creating a new doc with the same name, I appear to have triggered Word's auto-recovery feature. Incredibly weird.
Anyway. That's a new paranoia to add to the list, alongside "what if the interview recording fails" and "did I just send that email to the wrong person".
