Two episodes to go, but LOVE LIFE is basically a new Anna-Kendrick-starring indie romcom every week. I remember when I first watched Eternal Sunshine, and went on the hunt for films that felt like its more down-to-earth parts – this is exactly what I was looking for.pic.twitter.com/O6S9oKKk72
I watched the first episode and thought 'oh, this seems aggressively targeted at @Reecelipman'. And then, a few later, there was a scene set at the Hamilton merch stand. Just laser focused. I dunno if he's watched it yet.
It's got two big formalist devices, one I'm unsure about (the omniscient narrator, which I'm hoping will pay off somehow) and one I *love* (every episode is a new person, and a different era in the lead's life). This could be a trap, but the show finds some interesting twists.
