It's a REALLY good upgrade. First person I saw post their winning run on here was using it. I like using it to stack Hangover super fast. If you get it again, keep an eye out for Artemis boons, she's got a few that make it even better
Started Hades last night and... is the repeat-fire bow upgrade ridiculously OP or did I get waaaay better between my third and fourth runs? Went from struggling with Meg to making it nearly to the end of world 3.

Bit o' both. You'll discover limitations to the bow against certain enemies, but repeat fire is one of the best upgrades.

I haven't really dug deep into each upgrade but I've often rolled with adding weaken and armour-piercing to the special and it makes total mincemeat of Hydra
