my main contentions were Mystery Jets, Maccabees and The Cribs but they’re also all bands where I haven’t listened to anything they put out post-2010.
Continuing to work my way through the list... I was about to side with you on The Cribs (I'd forgotten quite how much I liked them) but then I remembered the cousin's wedding where I spent three minutes hugging the groom and his mates and shouting along to "Men's Needs". QED.

Also, as someone who lives close enough to Latchmere that informing Imi it's "got a waaaave machiiiine" is probable future grounds for divorce... very disappointed with the Maccabees track of choice here.
