Onto my second day and probably fiftieth launching of the Flight Sim installer. It pootles along for 10-30 mins then quietly crashes to desktop. Tried safe mode, clean boot, disabling Defender... anyone else experiencing this, any tips?
...Okay, so it's not graphics card drivers, or Visual C++, or any of the things suggested by the troubleshooter. I'm hearing chat it might be to do with EULA, but that seems to involve installing it on a second PC, and 120GB is bigger than my laptop's entire hard drive. Helppppp.
Now onto the sixth day (and third PC) of the grand 'How long will it take Alex to give up on installing Flight Sim' experiment. I JUST WANT TO SEE SOME BUILDINGS FROM THE SKY.
Hot dang it works! After all that... After reinstalling basically my PC's entire firmware and ferrying the download across from another laptop on a hard drive... I think this was all down to the fact that I didn't have Windows set to US English. 
And by "it works", I mean "I sometimes get to see inside the aeroplanes before it crashes to desktop". Very exciting.
I'm not sure how it's judged but I only (I say 'only' as a comparative) needed 109GB?
Stupidly, I only need the first 1GB to complete the task of logging in on a second PC, but MS Store insists on there being extra extra space before it'll let you download the installer. Such a terrible, terrible system.
