Writing a review, found myself reaching for Pixies as the natural soundtrack. Frank Black screaming "REPENTTT!" as you type is, um, certainly a motivator.

Also, I haven't listened to Pixies in an age, and thus had forgotten the joy where, with every new song, you turn the volume up another couple of notches. Music that cannot be played loud enough.

I haven't really listened to their modern stuff (since "Bam Thwok", at least, which I love), mainly cus I struggle to recognise any Pixies lineup that doesn't include Kim Deal. Should I check it out?
