Also, him being unrecgognisable makes the pairing forced, right? I get no sexual tension or desire between them. ALSO, we've seen all of Nathaniel's growth ON SCREEN so, as viewers, aren't we more invested in him?
Oh yeah, I'm getting roughly 0 chemistry there. And Nathaniel is totally the star of this season, although I'm not completely sold on 'they should end up together!'

Yeah, I’m not sure if that’s where is going - I think the show critically deconstructs romcoms too much to play into that trope? Think it might just be closure/nice ending for Nathaniel.

I'm fascinated to see how they unpick the whole 'who will she end up with' thing given how much the show has leant into it this season.
