Yeah, I can't get behind it. I think it might be an impossible task, a new actor playing an old character where *the whole point* is they're unrecognisable, but... that ain't my Greg.

I'm so glad, I feel the same way. Can't help thinking with how much emotional growth/narrative parallels are being drawn with Nathaniel/Rebecca (the repeat of 'case of the Mondays' in this ep and the whole using a rom com to work out emotions) that N/R is where it's heading?

Also, him being unrecgognisable makes the pairing forced, right? I get no sexual tension or desire between them. ALSO, we've seen all of Nathaniel's growth ON SCREEN so, as viewers, aren't we more invested in him?
