After spending a few hours reviewing options, I'd like your perspective. Obviously as a player starting out I'd need the revised core, but is it a good idea to pick up expansions, draft packs, data packs, etc? Better to skip for less confusion or buy bc last printing?
I'm not sure what availability is like, but I'd personally advise getting a revised core, then maybe some of the big box expansions (they all follow the naming convention 'A & B') and skip the data packs. Reign & Reverie may be the safest bet, as it has cards for all factions.

Follow-up question!! Only revised core is reasonably priced. All the expansions I'm seeing are $250+. Is Netrunner good to play repeatedly with only the revised core set? (The draft packs seem to run $10-$15 each.)
