Why does Netrunner keep dying? I have both Original Flavor and Android Flavor. If they ever resurrected it a third time, I'm not sure I'd trust it not to die again.

This is a great story. My favorite card game ever. Upon the news of its discontinuation, I went out and completed the card pool, so that I may play it with friends forever.

It's fascinating to see the divergent ways people responded to the cancellation. People naturally either clutch the game closer, or give it up, I think.

is it illegal to play it now?

It was a living card game, which recieved new official card releases and where tournaments (from local to international) had prize support from the game maker. Without those, it's left on the fan community to try to keep interest up
