I’m incredibly grateful for all of the kind messages I have received since speaking out against misogyny. Yet my experience is far from unique and the threats I have received are sadly very common. It just isn’t good enough. We need to see change now.

The Tories have actively cut the number of police officers on our streets across the UK. All the while, anti-social behaviour, petty crime and domestic abuse continue to be a major issue. This is just not good enough. We all deserve to feel safe in our communities.

Thank you for giving me the chance to talk about the issues closest to my heart, and how we need to tackle VAWG and misogyny both on and offline. Tune in tomorrow night to watch the whole interview 👇

Misogynists like Andrew Tate are helping to normalize violence against women. This has real-life impacts as young boys become more receptive to hateful narratives online. Platforms & governments must work together to prevent the spread of online violence.

We know too well the impact that anti-social behaviour has in Pontypridd. Cars with modified exhausts, designed to backfire, have left people unable to sleep and afraid to use public areas at night. It is not good enough. It's time the Tories took this seriously.

Thinking of Tech Nation staff and those who use its services. The Government must ensure their decision doesn’t damage the tech ecosystem, growth in the sector or the wider economy.

This is absolutely spot on. Thee is nothing wrong with pursuing a career in social media, per say. But as says, the links between #misogyny & #VAWG are huge (and the rest). Our young people must be informed about the world- not just our girls, boys importantly!

The number of young people in Pontypridd who aspire to be social media influencers is huge. We shouldn't underestimate their influence - the links between misogyny and VAWG are there to see. The Government has work to do to assure us that they are taking this seriously.

Had this from the Public Appointments Commissioner after he agreed to my investigation on the BBC Chair’s appointment. He’s recused himself. It’s taken him a week to realise a conflict of interest, sharing these cosy relationships. The truth must come out about this appointment

My son was born 2 weeks prematurely by emergency C-section and spent 2 weeks fighting for his life. I was lucky that my husband’s employer had a flexible approach to leave & he was able to take paid time off to support us. Many others aren’t so lucky. We need change now.

After the disgraceful comments I’ve just heard in the Commons it’s more important than ever to remember that this week marks 50 years since Roe v Wade. We’ll never stop fighting & speaking out to ensure women across the world have safe access to essential healthcare! #ProChoice

There has been no Government progress on their intention to publish data on the provision and availability of IVF. We all know there is a postcode lottery when it comes to services, and this is not good enough. I called on the Minister to support my Bill which addresses this 👇

Last night aired a truly shocking investigation into the WRU and exposed what many have known for a while regarding the claims of sexism, bullying and sexual harassment. has been leading the way in trying to drive change. Proud of my friend ❤️💪🏉

Tonight at 8 pm, BBC One will air “BBC Wales Investigates: Welsh Rugby Under the Spotlight” investigating claims of sexism, bullying and sexual harassment at the Welsh Rugby Union. Here is my statement ahead of tonight’s programme.
Statement from Tonia Antoniazzi MP which reads "Wales is undoubtedly a rugby loving nation, but it is time for us to confront the systemic failings within the sport and its governance in Wales. From the grassroots game right up to board level, women deserve to have confidence they will be protected from unsafe conditions or inappropriate behaviour and will be listened to if something goes wrong. Regretfully this has not been the case in Wales and victims of abuse and harassment have been ignored or pressured into silence. Following tonight’s programme, those responsible for ensuring the longevity and success of rugby in Wales including sponsors, players, politicians and the WRU must accept the status quo is unacceptable. Drastic changes must be made to improve the culture within Welsh rugby, so women feel safe whether they are a player, volunteer, or staff member. Regarding matters of safeguarding and dealing with instances of abuse and harassment, the WRU as an organisation cannot
