Umm what? The now estimates that 750,000,000 people have gotten the ro? Which, at 1 million death, would put the death rate at 1 in 750 (even with overcounting, etc) - or 0.13%. That’s the lowest estimate I’ve ever seen. Say it with me: IT’S THE FLU.

Also, COVID19 has a high rate of hospitalizations, and a surprisingly high rate of long term consequences. Even asymptomatic cases often show lung damage afer the infection clears. Many have long term fatigue. Some have organ damage from the coagulopathy.

Many of those are still infected; deaths trail infections.
Also, many countries are undercounting, not overcounting. Also, what's their estimate for deaths, and since when do you trust the WHO?

I'm sure all of the adults who lost their jobs permanently, and health insurance provided by such jobs will be glad to know this was done in the name of a flu-like illness. And don't forget the kids that are set back up to a year in their education. Well done, governors!
