3/ Okay, now look at deaths in the 25-44 range. They start to rise at the same time and rise almost as much. BUT THEY NEVER COME DOWN. They remain at 25-35% above normal every single week. The exact same in England, only England, not the whole UK. There was a huge spike in deaths in the 15-44 age group. This stat is as yet unsolved I believe.
I assume the drop-off at the end is an artifact of the smoothing methodology and not a real decline?
Yeah these charts always have a big falling tail because the data isn't complete for them yet. In a couple weeks it's very likely that the "newest" data on that chart will be up with the rest of the weeks.
