delirium- a life threatening illness, treatment and management of delirium is priority and dementia investigation may detract from this

Fair enough but some families worry that the delirium could be dementia - maybe IQCODE could act as a 'we'll look into it' & review later?

Fully see that side. To be honest not something I was familiar with prior to reading the journal so will have to keep an open mind
