I love it when friends ask me for computer recommendations and I know even if I answer them, they’re probabaly not going to take my advice.
The other day a man asked for advice on buying more memory for his computer. When I told he should check the QVL for his motherboard he got this deer in the headlights look and ran away.

A friend of mine wants to play XIV on a laptop and she doesn’t have a PS4 anymore. I’m trying to tell her as long she doesn’t get an Intel igpu machine (so go AMD) and keep the settings moderate she could run it on a sub $500 machine. She prob won’t listen

I look forward to the panicked messages in two weeks as to why her laptop is super hot (on her bed) when she has all the settings cranked up
