My idée fixe is very obviously the dragon. Attempts to remedy this have misunderstood the nature of the obsession. Dragon is not a synonym for shadow, or demon. Dragon is a map I have drawn of humanity, beginning with the extremities and attempting to navigate through the center
The problem seems to be that there are only ever extremities, some of which sometimes masquerade falsely as a center. My solution, so far as I can articulate it, is to let them; even to encourage them. An ecosystem has no absolute, stable, or permanent center.

What is does have is types, defined in relation to ever changing niches, thus for each type there is its own teleology, unknown but defined relationally. There can't be one personal god because if time ended it wouldn't be time, therefore there is no end of time for God to occupy

Likewise for the rest. Dragon turned into a contemplation of sin when I went to Europe, but only because dragon is a map. A map bigger than one territory, in this case. I haven't finished exploring yet.
