I sort of think behavior encodes truth but ideas do not. But I also don't like the kinds of truth behavior encodes. I prefer ideas.

i think that almost all of modern truth-seeking is a strange, lateral arm of the biological imperative. even those who sacrifice many things in a personal pursuit are just looking for the philosopher's stone so they can make their lives better

A process that converges on truth at infinity is a process that cannot factor awareness. Because living beings have awareness, any process employed to develop truth is necessarily finite. Not even the pursuit of truth escapes death, but there is still value in chasing the thing.

What is the diff between converging at infinity and trying hard? Doesn’t just trying hard forever converge at infinity? Or u mean it’s provable in a formal sense that if u keep doing X truth will be found.

I don't think trying hard converges at infinity. It is turning over stones, not even necessarily at random. The stones might increase, or shift, and you might end up turning the same few over repeatedly.
