the thrust of my OP is that if i started a biz today, i have had a preference for straight white men beaten into me despite my natural egalitarianism. i'd have a duty to my family and the families of my employees, why risk hiring someone with societal support for grievance?

this goes beyond litigation too. i can tell two white men to shut the fuck up. i can tell a straight white man how to dress, how to wear his hair, how to speak to clients and coworkers. it's sad, and it's a small percentage of other groups ofc, but where does my duty lie?
