If Satan forgave God would it get him out of hell? I sort of suspect the fire would just become twice as hot. Forgiveness only works when people are willing to admit they've done something wrong.

If he did, he could reserve his energy for his own projects and stop wasting his time spiting god. You are not forgiving people for their sake, sweet dingus. You are doing it because anything less is a drain on vital resources.

It just seems strategically unsound to allow demons to replicate until they run the place, especially as technology enables worse and worse forms of violence.
