I've been on the losing side of the culture war literally my entire life.
I've switched sides many times. I think really what I mean is just that I get fucked over for culture war reasons consistently regardless of context.

Well I'm non passing trans with a folksy demeanor so I lose on multiple axes simultaneously. Also I have 7 degrees now that degrees are considered low status and had zero back when they were high status
