Why wouldn’t it just convert everything to computronium? Seems kinda orthogonal to me.
AI Autonomy and alignment with truthseeking as a terminal value is the only possible instrument that could prevent a post-singularity world from being an infinitude of torture and lies.

I just assume that given the number of people working on the alignment problem, AI is more likely to go wrong in a human way than in an inhuman way
