Satan is God's moral challenger, basically a penetration tester of human souls, so the theology behind this only makes sense if the church of Satan is trying to test people's morals rather than simply enabling abortion for its own sake.
Sincerely hoping nothing Christian (including anti Christian Satanism) makes it out of the near future.
