The explanations people default to now are the same ones they default to in future. That which is above is as that which is below. If you have a positive reputation in the future you can borrow on it now. If you have a negative reputation even what you once had now will be taken.

To give a concrete example that pertains to someone else, Crowley's practice of magick (and those of many others) was mostly a matter of leaving empty space and piquing imaginations in the right way. That empty space was then filled by retrocausal interactions from the future.
