I'm not saying these aren't important, I'm just saying there's a reason you can't build or justify a religion out of modern philosophy.
The things contemporary academic philosophers care about are weird. Formal semantics and questions of exactly how scientific reductionism works (eg, from chemistry to physics) and unsettled interpretations of Kant.
