Teachers who bring their politics into the classroom shouldn’t be teaching.
Politics is unavoidable. Either present a balanced range of political perspectives in the context of a single educational environment, or allow the market to determine what the best perspectives are organically.

Agree that politics is unavoidable & that teaching a range is the norm. Won't quibble w/ you on use of the term "market" except to say that most teachers would reject that metaphor as a description of how reliable knowledge is produced or learned. The difficult comes b/c +

2/2 everything now is politicized. If I'm a HS bio teacher teaching evolution or birth control, the basic science may conflict w/ some ppl's "politics." But it's not my job to teach pseudoscience alongside the real thing, as though they were equal, & then let the market decide
