We probably do it anyway whether we mean to or not. If you don't teach people about angels, they will just see ghosts or aliens or whatever. You just also need to teach people a theory of the subconscious. Maybe that has it's own pitfalls, though?

If you don't know then the last thing you should generally be doing is trying to figure it out on your own. Some people manage that. And there are a lot of people out there who will take advantage, so there's no clear safe path. But in principle you should seek out teachers.

Honestly, I don't want anything to do with this if I don't need to. And frankly: I think "finding a teacher" might be its own trap since the "secret" I brought out was essentially some basic tips on psychosexual brainwashing. Whomp whomp.
