The voice of god is probably an internal voice formed by lessons and frames of meaning (and maybe some biology).
Same with the dragon spirit voice I heard. What makes God special?

I think it has to do with some Jungian archetype stuff. I think if you can form a good system of sacred myths, a bet it makes a really useful god. Your dragon might have been just as good though. Also, cultural gods might help societies organize? Esoteric social science!

Yeah I mean, in the end hallucinations are just thoughts a person has that they're confused about the origin of. They can be analyzed like other thoughts to a certain degree as a result. But inculcating delusion still strikes me as wrong.
