      Yes that is the argument against google, but what is the argument being made by Google to justify cutting pay? Inequity, compared to who? Overpaid, if they are doing the same work as an on site employee should they be paid less? Nomadic, a total non sequitur.

      Google (businesses in general) doesn't have to justify cutting pay, that's my point. If I was trying though, I'd say office workers are being paid to get up, get cleaned up/dressed, and commute. How much time is spent driving to/from work?Maybe office folks should be paid more.

      In person work does something good, it depends on what field you are in, but I know I couldn’t work from home as efficiently. Those zoom/teams meetings are so not like the real thing.

          Have you seen evidence of the contrary? I’d say it depends on your lifestyle, your personal preference and the actual type of work, but productivity is not the only thing and company culture, being part of a community, welcoming customers, etc. Is also impacted by remote work.
