Yeah Nestlé is a case of rights mismanagement by the state though I think. The government is who sells them the water rights.

Well they'd still be able to aqquire the rights to water sources. Theyd fuck over the poor people by giving them a deal they couldnt refuse and then taking that water. I dont think thats ethical, its prying on the less fortunate. It is similar to imperialism in my mind.

Well I mean. There may be problems of leverage but I don't think it would be as bad as Nestlé

I don't think that's what happened. And I think if you're really the only person in the world that can do something, you deserve to be compensated accordingly. Just maybe not to a degree that causes privation in others.

Im not saying thats what they did, its a hypothetical. Water is a human neccesity and supply and demand shouldnt apply to it. Everyone needs water. It should be free. Why pay for something that i require to live?

Allocation problems. Efficiency is lack of waste, is better use of resources and thus better service to life. That ownership is deontologically bad is meaningless when the consequentialist functions of ownership are well defined.

But capitalism wastes materials all the time? A example when i worked at Taco Bell, we would often change the frying oil much more than we needed to. We wasted lots of mostly clean oil bc it was considered more efficient than to let it build up to the end of the day.
